My Life in Books Tag
Hello Again!
I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of January! I wanted to do another book tag before the end of the month and thought I would do the "My Life in Books Tag"! This tag is short but sweet and I think it lets you guys get to know me a little more through my bookshelf! Enjoy!
A Book for Each Initial
K- King by Ellen Oh
M- Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley
B- Bright Smoke, Cold Fire by Rosamund Hodge
Count Your Age Along Your Bookshelf
I am 24 and the 24th book along my TBR bookshelf was The Crown's Game by Evelyn Skye.
A Book Set in Your State
I live in Florida and I read A Land Remembered by Patrick D. Smith when I was a sophomore in high school. This novel is about how Florida was settled and was one of the only school books I actually enjoyed.
A Book Set in a Destination You'd Like to Go
The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown is set in a variety of locations all over Europe including France and England and I have always wanted to travel to Europe. I always wanted to go on some sort of treasure hunt like they did in this novel (although maybe less dangerous).
A Book That's Your Favorite Color
My favorite color is purple and I just got Zenith in the mail. This book is the most wonderful color of purple and also has some lovely blues and silvers mixed in as well!
Book with the Fondest Memories
I read the Song of the Lioness series by Tamora Pierce when I was in middle school and fell in love with the series and the author. I have read these books so many times since that I cannot even count. My copy of the first novel is very well read as you can see.
Book You Had the Most Difficulty Reading
I know that this series is very popular but I really struggled with Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton. I found the characters infuriating and the story dull. The whole things made me want to tear my hair out. It was a miracle I finished this book.
Book with the Biggest Sense of Accomplishment
I read the Golden Compass series by Philip Pullman when I was in middle school and they contain a pretty mature content, especially the sequels. When I finished the third novel, The Amber Spyglass, I had a real sense of accomplishment because at that point it was the longest book I had read and had such complex content.
Enjoy the rest of your month my pretties!
