Homemade Cinnamon Apple Bread Recipe

Hello! Since October is now upon us, it's time for another fall recipe! I made this delicious apple bread last weekend and had to share it! This recipe is delicious and will put you in the mood for fall. Enjoy!

 

Homemade Cinnamon Apple Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. packed light brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

  • 2/3 C. white sugar

  • 1/2 C. butter, softened

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 C. all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

  • 1/2 C. milk

  • 1.5 large apples, peeled and finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan, set aside. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl and set aside.

  2. In a stand mixer or large bowl, combine white sugar and butter until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and continue to beat on medium speed until combined. Add flour and baking powder, then milk.

  3. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan. Cover with half of the apples. Sprinkle with half of sugar and cinnamon mixture.

  4. Pour the remaining batter over apple layer; top with remaining apples and add more brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.

  5. Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle of the loaf comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Drizzle with caramel syrup before serving if desired.
