Top 8 Favorite Shows to Rewatch
Hello Again!
Posting a little late after another long weekend of wedding prep and bookmark making. Recently, I've been rewatching alot of my favorite shows so I thought I would do a list of my favorite shows to rewatch and hopefully you'll find something new to watch! Enjoy!
Top 8 Favorite Shows to Rewatch
8. Merlin
This show originally debuted on NBC about 10 years ago and was only on for one season before getting scrapped. It had a great story and cast and I was sad to see it go! However, it got picked up by SyFy the next year and had a great 5 season run, becoming more complex in the later seasons. If you enjoy magic, Arthurian legend, and adventure, you might like Merlin! All episodes are on Netflix and Hulu.
7. House, MD
This show has always been a favorite. I started watching medical dramas when I was in middle school and this was one of the first. I love Hugh Laurie's brusque attitude and the bizarre nature of the medical mysteries of every episode. While I prefer the original set of interns, the second set was a fine substitute. I am definitely due for a rewatch of this show! Episodes are only available for purchase unfortunately.
6. Grey's Anatomy
I didn't start watching this show until I was in college but have already rewatched it 3 times! The drama in this show is borderline soap opera but that's what makes it so fun. The characters all have their own unique personality and their are quite a few of them (but don' get attached, trust me!). There's just a special chemistry about this medical drama that makes it so enjoyable that I can't put my finger on. All episodes are on Netflix as well as some on Hulu.
5. Mozart in the Jungle
This show is another recent addition to my rewatch list and quickly became on of my favorites. I watched this show for the first time in January and have already watched it through again. This show has a very unique concept and a magnetic dialogue between the cast and especially the main characters, Rodrigo and Hailey. Whether you are a lover of classical music or not, this show is addictive and defintiely worth a watch. All episodes are available on Amazon if you have Prime.
4. Avatar: The Last Airbender
I watched this anime when it first premiered in middle school and have rewatched it many times through the years. Although this show was marketed as a kids show, it is enjoyable for all ages and has lessons and messages that can apply to everyone. One of this shows charms is its lovable cast as well as its humor and unique animation style. There's something for everyone to love and this is one of my all time favorite shows. Episodes are available for purchase on multiple platforms.
3. The Crown
This amazingly phenomenal history drama aired in 2016 and quickly became one of my all time favorite TV shows. Featuring an amazing cast, this drama follows the life of Queen Elizabeth II from the beginning of her reign and plans to show the 60 years she has been a monarch. Since its premiere, I have watched this show no less than 3 times. This show also features an amazing score. All episodes are available to stream on Netflix.
2. Parks and Recreation
While not as long a love as The Office, this show grew on me immediately and I have watched it all the way through about 5 times. This show's humor is similar to The Office but has its own unique charm. The cast of characters in this show is smaller and somehow more dynamic than The Office. I have watched this show at least 4 times and I quote this show almost daily with my fiance I am probably due for a rewatch soon and can't wait to start. All episodes are available to stream on Netflix and Hulu.
1. The Office
My #1 pick, The Office will always be my go to rewatch and a timeless favorite. The show that inspired countless memes, this show had a great run and I was honestly pretty sad to see its finale. This show had interesting humor and great dialogue. I also loved the take on an American office environment and all the shenanigans that were taking place, usually because of Michael Scott. In fact, if you guys didn't already know, my blog is named for this show, that's how much I love this show. I have watched it at least 5 times, if not more and definitely plan to watch more in the future. All episodes are available to stream on Netflix.
Hope you all found something new to enjoy or maybe stumbled upon something you want to rewatch again. What are some of your favorite shows to rewatch?
