March OwlCrate Unboxing
Hello Again!
Hope everyone is having a good week so far, I received my OwlCrate for March this past week and wanted to do an unboxing so you could see how amazing the
contents were this month.
March Theme: Across the Galaxy
Goodies
Exclusive Kady Grant Candle by Wick & Fable This candle is inspired by The Illuminae Files which is a book series i have been hesitant about getting into because I'm not sure it's my style. However, this candle smelled amazing (like oranges) and I broke the lid by dropping this candle almost as soon as I picked it up haha
Guardians of the Galazy Mystery Mini Funko Pop Everyone who got an OwlCrate this month was give a mystery Funko Pop pouch with one of thirteen Pops inside. I wish I had gotten Yondu and Nebula was pretty far down the list of who I wish I had gotten, so this is one of the more disappointing items that I got but still pretty darn cute!
Cinder Inspired Mug designed by Sasha Natasha (what a name!) This is another series that I have been eyeing for quite some time but have been hesitant about starting. This book is actually on my TBR for next month though so I'm excited to have a mug to go along with it! The purple color is also divine!
Exclusive Hand Painted Watercolor Star Wars Bookmark by Lexy Olivia I don't actually think this bookmark was "hand painted" just from touching it. I think that maybe the original was hand painted and then they made a bunch of copies which is fine, but don't give me a "hand painted" bookmark when it's obviously printed. Anyway, this is a classic quote and the colors are great for this bookmark.
Red Rising Print by Nerdy Post I literally just started reading this book last week so I was excited to see this print because now I already have merch for a series I know I'm going to love. Nerdy Post always does great work!
Exclusive Galaxy Print Infinity Scarf by OwlCrate Here is another one of the items I love love love from this crate! This infinity scarf, the king of scarves, is the most delightful shade of purple, the king of colors, and is so soft. They went all out on this one. This might be my favorite item they have included in a crate so far, other than the tapestry.
Book of the Month
Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston
In addition to the signed addition of this book, which came with beautiful purple sprayed pages, came an exclusive character poster. I don't know much about this book other than it is a sci- fi but I'm excited to read it because I have heard alot of good word of mouth.
Seventeen-year-old Ana is a scoundrel by nurture and an outlaw by nature. Found as a child drifting through space with a sentient android called D09, Ana was saved by a fearsome space captain and the grizzled crew she now calls family. But D09—one of the last remaining illegal Metals—has been glitching, and Ana will stop at nothing to find a way to fix him. Ana’s desperate effort to save D09 leads her on a quest to steal the coordinates to a lost ship that could offer all the answers. But at the last moment, a spoiled Ironblood boy beats Ana to her prize. He has his own reasons for taking the coordinates, and he doesn’t care what he’ll sacrifice to keep them. When everything goes wrong, she and the Ironblood end up as fugitives on the run. Now their entire kingdom is after them—and the coordinates—and not everyone wants them captured alive. What they find in a lost corner of the universe will change all their lives—and unearth dangerous secrets. But when a darkness from Ana’s past returns, she must face an impossible choice: does she protect a kingdom that wants her dead or save the Metal boy she loves?

I'm going to start doing something at the end of the unboxings to help you get a feel for how I think the items in the crate as well as the book were as a whole and that is rating the crate as I would for a book review. I'm going to give this crate a 4.5 out of 5 stars because I didn't love every single items in the crate but this crate drastically improved upon the last 2 months of OwlCrates.
That's it for the OwlCrate this month! I was really impressed by the quality and quantity of the items as well as the sprayed pages on the book. It was an added bonus that almost everything was my favorite color, purple. Now we just wait patiently for my last crate of the month, Fairyloot! Be on the look out for that unboxing as well as the wrap up for this month to see what I read this month!
