April Theme- Magical Manipulators
Goodies
Monthly Theme Art Bookmark designed by @kat_adara I always love the theme art for ShelfLove Crate! It's very well designed and this month is no exception. This month's is beautiful and very detailed.
Lunar Chronicles Trading Card No. 3 designed by @kat_adara Although I haven't started this series yet, these are an interesting item that they started including in their February box! Beautifully designed by the same designer as the monthly art.
Roar Inspired Coaster by Love You More Studio This is another book I haven't read yet but I love getting this kind of item because it's unique and fun to showcase on my bookshelves!
Rebel of the Sands Sleep Mask by KDP Letters I really didn't enjoy this book so I wasn't thrilled with this item but it is definitely unique and I always appreciate that.
Earth Spirit Gem Soap by Willow and Honey This is a great item because there every crate could have one of the four elements! I got Earth which is a lovely green color.
Six of Crows Woodmark by Ink and Wonder Designs This is a book I DNF'd after 20 pages but I plan on trying again at some point and this bookmark is beautifully designed by one of my favorite shops. A great item.
Aelin and Rowan Tote Bag designed by @Morgana0Anagrom This is my all time favorite item from any crate. Ever. Period. WOW! This art is amazing and I am absolutely floored. This is my all time favorite couple and what an amazing item. I was so happy to get this! Way to go ShelfLove Crate!
Book of the Month
Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian
This is yet another highly anticipated fantasy novel for the year for me. I have been excited to read this novel because of its badass female vibes and amazing plot synopsis. I hope this novel lives up to its reviews and can't wait to get into it in May!
Theodosia was six when her country was invaded and her mother, the Fire Queen, was murdered before her eyes. On that day, the Kaiser took Theodosia's family, her land, and her name. Theo was crowned Ash Princess--a title of shame to bear in her new life as a prisoner. For ten years Theo has been a captive in her own palace. She's endured the relentless abuse and ridicule of the Kaiser and his court. She is powerless, surviving in her new world only by burying the girl she was deep inside. Then, one night, the Kaiser forces her to do the unthinkable. With blood on her hands and all hope of reclaiming her throne lost, she realizes that surviving is no longer enough. But she does have a weapon: her mind is sharper than any sword. And power isn't always won on the battlefield. For ten years, the Ash Princess has seen her land pillaged and her people enslaved. That all ends here.
Crate Score
Overall, this was an amazing crate! Although there were a couple of items that I wasn't as familiar with, it had some really great items and some amazing designs from artists. It also had a great book that I can't wait to get into. I give this crate 4.5 out of 5 stars and I can't wait to see what's in next month's ShelfLove Crate!
That's it for this week! Hope everyone has a great weekend and I will see you guys next week for the April Wrap Up!
