Cheddar Bay Biscuit Recipe
Hello All! I've been in a baking mood lately and decided to tackle another one of my Pinterest recipes. These biscuits are a hack for the Red Lobster biscuits and I have to say they're pretty close. Enjoy this recipe!
Ingredients
BISCUITS
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2-3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/2-2 cup shredded cheddar cheese I like sharp cheddar
TOPPING:
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons buttermilk
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley
1/2-1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Spray a muffin tin with non- stick spray.
In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder and salt. Add in the buttermilk, butter and cheddar and stir until combined.
Fill the cups about 3/4 of the way and bake for 10-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
While biscuits are baking, combine the topping ingredients and brush the biscuits shortly after they come out of the oven.
