Beauty and the Beast Book Tag
Bonjour! Good Day! Hope you guys had a great weekend. I got a little sunburnt but am no more worse for wear. Enjoy this Beauty and the Beast book tag I stumbled upon!
Tale as Old as Time
(Popular theme/ trope/ setting you never get bored of)
Big romantic gestures! I never get tired of reading about the guy or girl getting their loved one with romantic gestures. Often times in romance novels...
Belle
(Book you bought for the cover that's just as beautiful on the inside)
Strange the Dreamer! I bought this book for it's gorgeous cover (and 4 other copies...) and enjoyed it's complex story just as much!
Be Our Guest
(Book that made you hungry)
This is always a tough one because most books aren't talking about food all the time. One series that comes to mind is The Poison Study Series. They're constantly talking about food and after a while you want to give it all a try!
Gaston
(Book everyone loves but you don't)
An Ember in the Ashes. I read this for a buddy read and couldn't get into the story. However, this is a wildly popular series with many fans. I may give it another try eventually but not for quite some time...
Evermore
(Book that made you sad or emotional)
Pretty much every Sarah J. Maas book meets this criteria but if I had to choose, I would say Empire of Storms. There are quite alot of feels in that book and the next book will probably be even worse.
Lefou
(Loyal sidekick you can't help but love)
Dobby from the Harry Potter Series! Dobby helps Harry whenever he needs aid and does so because he loves Harry. He is an adorable creature who suffered an untimely end and will be remembered forever.
Mrs. Potts, Chip, Lumiere, Cogsworth
(Book that helped you through a difficult time or taught you something)
I don't have a specific example so I'm going to have to say that all books I read impact my life in some way. This sounds pretty cliche but it's true, everything I read changes my opinions or ideas and can impact the way I read or what I'll read.
Something There
(Book or series you didn't like at first but picked up towards the end)
I'm gonna pick Strange the Dreamer again. When I first started reading this book, I wasn't crazy about it. It confused me and I had a hard time getting into the story. It got significantly better as it went on and I understood more. I can't wait to reread!
Beauty and the Beast
(Opposites attract)
Dr. Brennan and Agent Booth from Bones. Now I know this is a TV show and not a book necessarily but this couple fits this prompt perfectly. This forensic anthropologist and FBI agent start off as enemies of a sort and the tension builds through the series until they finally realize their feelings for each other. They're one of my favorite couples of all time!
Adieu! Hope you enjoyed my book tag! Have a great week guys!
